The Visitors Guide is published by the Friends of Island Beach and is full of information on the park, it's history and seasonal programs. It can be found after May 1st at local businesses as well as public libraries. The Guide includes advertisements from many local businesses that we encourage you to visit. This year the Friends have a historical scale model, 4' x 8' in length by 42" high, being built to represent the park in the area of the Reed Hotel with various out buildings as it was around 1875. This model, inclusive of sound effects, will be on display at the Interpretive Center. Completion date is late Summer/early Fall 2010.
